In the Balkan region, a key region in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan, it is planned to increase natural gas production to 11 billion cubic meters per year by 2025.  The head of the Department for Analysis of Economic Risks of the Agency for Protection from Economic Risks under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, Hangeldi Gurbangeldiev, said this in a commentary for the official Turkmen press.

Simultaneously with the increase in natural gas production in the Balkan velayat, it is planned to increase the production of gas condensate to 10.5 million tons.

Also, by 2025, the region plans to increase the production of motor gasoline by 29%, diesel fuel by 20.4%, and lubricating oils by three times.

These large-scale plans have been put before the fuel and energy complexes of the country in the long-term programs for the socio-economic development of our country, H. Gurbangeldiyev writes.

The growth of hydrocarbon production and the production of finished petroleum products should be achieved through the introduction of advanced technologies.
