The possibilities of organizing an official visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the State of Qatar were discussed on Tuesday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov in a telephone conversation with his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdel Rahman Al Thani. The interlocutors exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral relations. In order to develop political and diplomatic cooperation, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries stressed the need to organize political consultations between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Qatar by the end of autumn this year.
