The results of the development of the fuel and energy complex for nine months were summed up at an expanded government meeting

 Last Monday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the activities of the sectors of the national economy for the nine months of 2022 were summed up, and the implementation of the Presidential and other programs of the country's socio-economic development was discussed.

 Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported on the results of the oil and gas industry over the past period.

 It was reported on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production.  In particular, the plan for oil production by the State Concern «Turkmennebit» was fulfilled at the level of 100.7%.

 The plan for oil refining in the period under review was fulfilled by 110.9%, the production of gasoline – by 115.7%, diesel fuel – by 111.6%, polypropylene – by 122.3%, lubricating oils – by 101.1%, liquefied  gas – by 113.9%, for the production of natural and associated gas – by 115.3%, the export of «blue fuel» - at the level of 125.9%.

 Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Vice-Chairman to effectively use the production capacity of oil and gas enterprises.  The importance of discovering new deposits of hydrocarbon resources was also noted by strengthening the material and technical base of the industry and introducing modern technologies.

 As the head of state emphasized, it is necessary to carry out deep processing of oil and natural gas, increase the volume of products to use them at full capacity and ensure the uninterrupted operation of fuel and energy enterprises.

 The President also gave instructions to accelerate the implementation of the international project Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India and build new hydrocarbon processing plants.

 The Vice-Chairman was also instructed to analyze the state of affairs in the area under his supervision and take all measures to properly organize the work of subordinate structures.
