Azerbaijan imported over 42,000 tons of gasoline from Turkmenistan in eight months

In January-August 2022, Azerbaijan imported 42,831.33 tons of AI-92 gasoline from Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Interfax-Azerbaijan agency with reference to the Azerbaijani government.
In value terms, the export of Turkmen AI-92 gasoline to Azerbaijan for this period amounted to more than 49 million 597.21 thousand US dollars.
Turkmenistan is the second largest supplier of this fuel to the neighboring country after Russia. 73.5% of all imports of AI-92 motor gasoline or 150 thousand 7.94 tons in the amount of $166 million 605.18 thousand US dollars were carried out from Russia.
Also, in January-August 2022, Azerbaijan imported from Turkmenistan 8,196.25 tons of Premium Euro-95 motor gasoline in the amount of 7 million 747.05 thousand US dollars.
