Serdar Berdimuhamedov: May the New Year become a year of peace, happiness, great achievements and abundance!

 Congratulating compatriots on the New Year, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov recalled the most important events of the past year, held under the motto «Epoch of people with Arkadag».

 Among them, the head of state named the elections of the President of Turkmenistan, the decisions of the Halk Maslakhaty, the adoption of a program for the socio-economic development of the country for the next 30 years, as well as the opening of a number of large objects of transport, energy, medical and social infrastructure.

 The President also emphasized that “great successes have been achieved in the oil and gas, transport and communications, trade and business sectors of the economy.  The workers of these industries also made a worthy contribution to the development of a sovereign state”.

 The Turkmen leader noted that “from January 1, 2023, we will increase wages, pensions and benefits, scholarships for students and listeners by 10%.  This is a continuation of the work to improve the welfare and social security of the native people”.

 The head of state focused on the fact that, setting high goals for ourselves, we declared 2023 the year of “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, thereby expressing the great confidence of young people in the future of our Motherland.

 At the end of his address to his compatriots, Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished everyone: “Let the New Year become a year of peace, happiness, great accomplishments and abundance! In the New Year, I wish your sacred family hearths well-being and solidarity, endless happiness!”
