The Russian Export Center Group (REC) is ready to support new large-scale projects in Turkmenistan in the oil and gas sector, as well as projects to modernize the railway infrastructure. This was stated by the General Director of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina, speaking on Thursday at the Turkmen-Russian business forum in Ashgabat, the press service of the REC reports.
The Director General noted that successful work has been carried out with Turkmenistan for several years, including the search for a reliable Russian supplier.
“Due to a special state program, we reduce the cost of logistics and, as a result, increase the efficiency of cooperation between Russian and Turkmen companies, provide analytical support and much more. Now we are working with our Turkmen colleagues on further plans for joint work, including projects in the field of oil and gas infrastructure, the construction of car repair facilities and digital solutions in education,” Nikishina said.
She expressed hope for strengthening the presence of Russian companies in Turkmenistan, the implementation of large-scale joint projects and long-term cooperation.
On January 19-20, Ashgabat hosts a Turkmen-Russian business forum, which is attended by more than 300 representatives of state organizations and private companies.
