The Decree of the President is designed to increase state control over the use of petroleum products

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution aimed at improving the efficiency of state control over the storage and rational use of petroleum products.
The Decree instructs the State Concern «Turkmennebit» to take into direct jurisdiction the Service for Control over the Use of Petroleum Products of the Department «Turkmennebitonumleri» of the Concern and call it the State Service for Control over the Use of Petroleum Products.
The document also approved the Regulations on the State Service for Control over the Use of Oil Products of the State Concern «Turkmennebit».
The State Concern «Turkmennebit», together with the Ministry of Adalat, was instructed to prepare and submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers on introducing amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution within a month.
