Following the results of the Turkmen-Qatari talks at the highest level, a package of documents was signed

 Today, negotiations were held in Doha between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, after which a package of documents was signed.  It is reported by TDH.

 During the talks of the heads of the two states, held in an expanded format with the participation of delegations of the two countries, as well as in a one-on-one format, special attention was paid to key issues, including the strengthening of the legal framework of bilateral partnership, the development of inter-parliamentary relations and  improvement of interaction between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

 The issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were also discussed.

 At the end of the talks between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a solemn ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held.

 In the presence of the heads of state, two intergovernmental agreements were signed: on the promotion and mutual protection of investments, and on the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports.  Two intergovernmental memorandums of understanding were also signed: in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, and in the field of youth.

 A number of documents were concluded between the departments of Turkmenistan and Qatar.
