As of September 1, Uzbekistan imported 5.6 million liters of gasoline from Turkmenistan, “Sputnik Uzbekistan” reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of this republic. In terms of gasoline supplies to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan ranks third after Kazakhstan and Russia.

The publication also notes that this year, ECO-93 gasoline from Turkmenistan began to be exhibited for the first time at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange. The supplier was “Nara-Komfort Servis LLC”.

The demand for synthetic gasoline ECO-93, produced from natural gas, is increasing in other countries of the world. According to the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, over 143 thousand tons of this type of fuel have been exported abroad in eight months of this year. Currently, ECO-93 gasoline is also supplied to Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Georgia, Denmark and Russia.

Such a high demand for these products is due to their high quality characteristics. Therefore, with regular refueling with ECO-93 gasoline, less carbon deposits are formed in the engine, which doubles its service life. So, when using ECO-93 gasoline that meets the Euro-5 environmental standard, the carbon monoxide content in the exhaust gases of a car is 0.03%, with the current norm not higher than 0.5%.

The production of environmentally friendly fuels from natural gas has been established at a new plant in the Akhal region, which went into operation in June 2019. Its annual capacity is 600 thousand tons of ECO-93 gasoline. In the future, it is planned to build the second stage of this gas chemical complex, which will significantly increase its production capacity, and hence the export potential of the oil and gas complex of our country.
