The results of the work of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan for five months were summed up at the industry meeting

 On Monday, June 12, a reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of enterprises in the industry for five months of this year, held under the motto “The Year of Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdarly”, were discussed.

 During the meeting, the tasks set for the oil and gas complex of the country by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on May 10 in a digital system, at which the results of the work of the sectors of the national economy for this period were summed up, were discussed.

 Opening the reporting meeting, Batyr Amanov, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, emphasized that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has great confidence in the workers of the oil and gas industry.  At the same time, in order to improve the activities of the industry and its consistent development based on modern achievements, the state creates all conditions, modernizes production facilities, introduces innovative technologies, which in turn determines the specific tasks facing the domestic fuel and energy complex.

 During the meeting, the State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” Merdan Roziev, General Director of the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company Maksat Pirliev, as well as heads of associations, departments  and enterprises of the complex, which reported on the work done during the reporting period and announced tasks for the near future.

       The speeches provided information on the achieved technical and economic indicators in the field of oil and gas condensate production in the country, the diversification of the national economy, the development of cooperation with large oil and gas companies of foreign countries and the further improvement of activities in this area, the widespread use of the digital system in the activities of the complex, the activation  work on the phased development of the Galkynysh gas field, the need to control the construction of the transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, as well as the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to households and production facilities during hot weather, etc.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized the importance of constant monitoring of planned and ongoing large projects in the oil and gas complex of the country, the widespread introduction of modern technologies in the industry, the timely and high-quality implementation of production plans, and also outlined the specific tasks facing the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”, the Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company.

 In conclusion, B. Amanov wished the audience great success in the implementation of the tasks set by the President, aimed at further developing the fuel and energy complex this year.
