Issues of implementing the Roadmap for the development of international cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy were discussed

The implementation of the Roadmap for the development of international cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan for 2022-2023 was discussed at the second meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the development of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan, held on Tuesday.
This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country.Heads and representatives of the relevant ministries and departments of the country took part in the meeting, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdiniyaz Myatiev.During the meeting, a set of priority tasks in this area was considered. In particular, the meeting participants discussed the implementation of the Roadmap for the development of international cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan for 2022-2023, as well as the study of foreign experience in the development of this area, the Deputy Foreign Ministry said.As B. Myatiev noted in his speech, one of the priorities of the foreign policy of the President of Turkmenistan is energy diplomacy.
Turkmenistan, possessing rich reserves of energy resources, contributes to the development of international cooperation in the field of energy, puts forward important initiatives in this area and actively participates in the implementation of projects of international and regional importance.As the meeting participants noted, the country is working to implement international initiatives in the field of hydrogen energy, establish effective international cooperation in this area, create a high-performance industry based on modern technologies and provided with qualified specialists.In this regard, in order to strengthen the scientific base in the field of hydrogen energy, the relevance of expanding international cooperation related to the training of specialists in this field was noted.In this context, the participants of the meeting were acquainted with the work of the center for hydrogen energy, established at the Yagshigeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas.
The participants of the meeting, in the context of the development of the international partnership of Turkmenistan in the field of hydrogen energy, noted the need for interaction with authoritative international organizations, primarily with the UN, OSCE, EU, ADB, as well as such states as the UK, USA, Japan and others.
