The Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan hosted a conference dedicated to the recent major political events in Turkmenistan, in particular, to the historic decisions reached within the framework of the meeting of the “Halk Maslahaty” (People's Council) of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was attended by the leaders and employees of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, the chief editor of the newspaper "Oil and Gas" Ussa Ussaev, professors and teachers of the International University of Oil and Gas and others.

As the speakers noted, the important political events that have recently taken place in our country are of great importance, both from the point of view of the internal development of the state and society, and the international activities of Turkmenistan.

It was also noted that during the meeting of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, held on September 25 this year, decisions of historical significance were adopted, in the preparation of which the people of our country actively participated. This is an updated Constitution, which once again confirms the state's adherence to the ideas and principles of democracy. Following the meeting, the Constitutional Law "On Amendments and Additions to the Constitution of Turkmenistan" was adopted. It is important to note that the development of the draft of this document was carried out taking into account the proposals of various segments of the population.

Summing up the results of the conference, its participants assured that they will continue to take an active part in the implementation of the tasks set for the oil and gas industry, as well as in the social and economic development of our country.
