President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the huge contribution of Vladimir Putin to the development of strategic and friendly Turkmen-Russian relations in his congratulations sent to the President of the Russian Federation on the occasion of his birthday.

“The confident socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, the consistent strengthening of its statehood and authority in the international arena are inextricably linked with your name,” the Turkmen leader stressed in his message.

Highly assessing the current level of all-round cooperation of Turkmenistan with the Russian Federation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov especially noted the personal attention and enormous contribution of Vladimir Putin to the development of strategic and friendly Turkmen-Russian relations.

“We intend to further expand the time-tested political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between our countries. We are firmly convinced that through joint efforts, Turkmen-Russian interstate relations and strategic partnership will continue to be steadily strengthened for the benefit of our peoples”, - the message says.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed wishes of good health, happiness and family well-being to Vladimir Putin, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Russia.
