Delegations of Turkmenistan and Pakistan Discuss the Implementation of the TAPI and TAP Projects at the ADIPEC 2023 Forum

As part of the ADIPEC 2023 International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, taking place these days in Abu Dhabi, the Turkmen delegation met with the Acting Federal Minister of Energy, Power and Petroleum of Pakistan Muhammad Ali, Orient reports.

At the meeting, issues of implementing the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) gas pipeline and the TAP power transmission line projects were discussed.

The Acting Minister of Energy of Pakistan expressed gratitude to the President and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for their efforts to promote these projects and confirmed the readiness of the Government of Pakistan to take comprehensive measures to accelerate their implementation.

Muhammad Ali expressed confidence that the relevant agreements between the parties would be officially signed in the near future.
