Companies from Turkey, the UAE, Great Britain and other countries purchased fuel and energy products at exchange auctions

 Last week, 75 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

 Representatives of the business circles of Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan purchased polypropylene, aviation kerosene, motor gasoline of various brands, lighting kerosene produced at the technological installations of the State Concern «Turkmennebit», as well as urea produced by the Türkmenhimiýa State Concern for foreign currency.

 Portland cement, handmade carpets, denim and dyed terry products, denim and cotton fabric, cotton yarn, dry licorice root extract, and purified cotton waste were also sold for foreign currency.  Buying countries: UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan.

 The total amount of transactions amounted to over 109 million 641 thousand US dollars.

Local entrepreneurs purchased petroleum road bitumen (State Concern «Turkmennebit»), float glass, glass containers, handmade carpets, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn and fabric for the domestic market.  The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 33 million 318 thousand manats.

The International Forum to attract foreign investment in the energy sector of Turkmenistan (TEIF 2024) will be held in Paris on April 24-25, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Etoile hotel. The forum is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” in cooperation with the Turkmen Forum and the British company GaffneyCline.
