Today in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan held a meeting under the chairmanship of the Vice Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shahim Abdrakhmanov, which discussed the results of work of enterprises of the industry for the year 2020 for the month of January of the current year, and discusses the important aspects of the implementation of the tasks of oil and gas complex at the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on 12 February this year.

The State Minister – Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" B. Amanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmennebit" G. Baigeldiev, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeologiya" M. Roziev, General Director of TCOR D. Chishiev, General Director of the CJSC "Turkmen National Oil and Gas Company" M. Pirliev, as well as heads of departments and enterprises of the complex made reports at the meeting.

As noted by Vicr Prime Minister Sh. Abdrakhmanov, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the State Concern "Turkmengaz" to expand the geography of sales of natural gas and gas chemical products, to explore logistics opportunities to enter new international markets. They also stressed the need to accelerate the construction of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India gas pipeline and complete it on time.

It was noted that the State Concern "Turkmennebit" should practice new forms of cooperation with international companies in the field of search, exploration and development of oil and gas fields, attract foreign investment for drilling new wells and extracting hard-to-recover and residual oil reserves from old wells.

They also noted the need to accelerate the pace of exploration, research and drilling operations carried out by the State Corporation "Turkmengeologiýa" in order to increase the country's oil and gas reserve.

The management of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries was instructed to study new methods of managing the production of petroleum products. Having established the production of new types of petrochemical products, it is necessary to expand the routes of its output to international markets.

Within the framework of the report, information was provided on the implementation of research and design and survey work carried out by specialists of the Research Institute, as well as on the need to establish cooperation with leading and specialized scientific institutions of other countries.

At the end of the meeting, Vice Prime Minister Sh. Abdrakhmanov wished the participants success in the implementation of the "program of development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period till 2030", stressing the need to improve the performance of each company Directors complex for effective implementation of the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan in the oil and gas industry of our country.
