The amount of foreign exchange transactions at the auction exceeded USD 110.6 million

 66 transactions were registered at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

 Businessmen from Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene and low-sulfur fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency.  Businessmen from the UAE, Scotland, Afghanistan, Singapore also bought ECO-93 gasoline, liquefied gas and technical sulfur produced by the SC «Turkmengas».

 Also, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn were sold for foreign currency.  Purchasing countries: Russian Federation, China, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan.

 The total amount of transactions exceeded USD 110 million 672 thousand.

 For manat funds, representatives of business circles from the UAE, Turkey, Pakistan purchased cotton yarn, licorice root extract and other medical supplies for a total amount of over 65 million 764 thousand manats.

 Domestic businessmen bought co-extruded polypropylene film (TCOR) for over 16 million manat for the local market.
