Anti-crisis program of Turkmenistan for 2022 approved

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the Program to reduce the impact on the economy of Turkmenistan of the crisis in the world economy and the stable development of the national economy for 2022. The corresponding decree was published in the media of our country.
The draft resolution on the approval of this program was presented at an enlarged meeting of the government last Friday by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who oversees the financial and banking sector of the economy in the government.
As the Vice-Chairman noted, the anti-crisis program defines the tasks of maintaining the multilateral and sustainable growth of the national economy, increasing the efficiency of using production facilities, developing the transport and logistics system, and widely introducing digital technologies and best practices.
The program also provides for measures to provide state support to small and medium-sized businesses, actively attract foreign investment, strengthen social security for the population and improve the social and living conditions of the people, the Vice-Chairman said.
Key ministries and departments of the country, regional administrations and other government agencies will be involved in the implementation of the program.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, having signed the submitted resolution, instructed the Vice-Chairman and relevant leaders to keep under strict control the timely and accurate implementation of the tasks outlined in the anti-crisis program.
The head of state also signed a decree, according to which the Central Bank and authorized credit institutions of the country are allowed to postpone until January 1, 2023, the payment deadlines for loans outstanding as of January 1, 2022, allocated to ministries and sectoral departments of the country.
Participants of the International Scientific Conference discussed the environmental aspects of the development of hydrocarbon fields
On June 15, the capital of Turkmenistan hosted the International Scientific Conference “Energy Prospects, New Technologies for the Development of Hydrocarbon Deposits”.
