The presentation, held under the guidance of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shahym Abdrahmanov, was attended by leaders and specialists of the oil and gas complex and invited guests. In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister, on behalf of all those present, expressed gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the valuable gift and for the ongoing progressive peace-loving policy aimed at the prosperity of the beloved Motherland and the ensuring of world peace.

Among the participants of the event were the State Minister – Chairman of the Turkmengaz State Concern Batyr Amanov, the Chairman of the Turkmennebit State Concern Guychgeldi Baygeldiyev, the Chairman of the Turkmengeologiya State Corporation Merdan Roziyev, the Professor, Head of the Department of Social Sciences at Yagshygeldy Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas Nuryagdy Suvhanov, the Chairman of the trade union organisation of the oil and gas complex of the country Sapar Ataberdiyev and others.

In their speeches, the participants expressed sincere gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag for his activity, aimed at the prosperity of the Motherland and the wellbeing of his people, and for the new book, which for every citizen of Turkmenistan had become the most expensive gift inspiring new labour achievements.

As the speakers emphasized, the new unique work of the President of Turkmenistan was a collection of speeches by the head of state, covered issues of foreign policy, economy, culture, science and other areas and provided answers to many challenges of our time. On the first pages of the new work, through the poems of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Long live peaceful life!” in honour of the International Day of Neutrality and the 26th anniversary of the international legal status of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and “My native land, Turkmenistan!”, recited in the family circle of the head of state on New Year’s Eve, there is a call for peace, trust and concord.

The participants of the presentation expressed their gratitude to the President for the creation of outstanding works and wished every success in his creative work on a new book about the accomplishments and achievements of our country over the years of independence, work on which the head of state had begun during his visit to the Ahalteke equestrian complex.

The State Minister – Chairman of the Turkmengaz State Concern Batyr Amanov noted in his speech that many of the promising projects were related to the fuel and energy complex, since ensuring energy security was the most important factor for general wellbeing and progress. The head of our state emphasizes that, being a world energy power, having a huge hydrocarbon potential, Turkmenistan strives to put this potential at the service of all humankind. By implementing a far-sighted and balanced policy in this sphere, our country stands for the diversification of routes for bringing energy carriers to world markets, the formation of a multi-variant pipeline infrastructure and the development of equal and mutually beneficial international cooperation in the fuel and energy sector.

Specific initiatives in this area, voiced by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his speeches at the sessions of the UN General Assembly, summits of the CIS heads of state and during other major forums, are included in the new collection. There is no doubt about the practical value and significance of the book, which serves as an excellent guide to the modern history of Turkmenistan, diplomacy, political science, social studies and a number of other sciences. Batyr Amanov said he was sure that the book Abadançylygyň röwşen gadamlary would become a reference book for each of us and would serve as an important source of wisdom and knowledge and an interesting and useful guide.

“The publication of each new book by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov becomes an important event in the social and political life of the country,” the Hero of Turkmenistan, People’s Writer of Turkmenistan, laureate of Magtymguly International Prize, poetess Gozel Shaguliyeva said. “After reading every new book by the Hero-Arkadag, new poetic works are born in me, imbued with ardent patriotism and a sincere feeling of great love of the Motherland and for the esteemed President. I experienced this feeling again when the leader of the nation gave us all his new book Abadançylygyň röwşen gadamlary”.

The new edition summarizes various issues of the country’s development and reflections on foreign policy, economics, culture, science and other areas. It vividly shows how the motto “The state is for the people”, proclaimed by the President of Turkmenistan, is implemented in practice. At the same time, the book is also valuable because its author helps understand the goals and strategic tasks, facing the country today, and outlines the priorities for its further development.

The new collection outlines clear and principled approaches of Turkmenistan on such vital development issues as the preservation and strengthening of global peace, stability and security, provides assessments and prospects of regional development and presents specific proposals to stimulate a broad interstate dialogue based on the UN Charter and internationally recognized legal norms.

The book considers a new look at the theory and practice of modern political and diplomatic realities and reveals the essence of the global initiative “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace”.

The President called that initiative a new instrument of international communication based on mutual respect, the consideration of each other’s interests and the rejection of forceful methods as a way to solve existing problems and contradictions, Nuryagdy Suvhanov, the Head of the Department of Social Sciences at Yagshygeldy Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, said.

The Head of the Department of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Professor Atajan Burunov noted in his speech that the book of the President of Turkmenistan The Bright Path to Prosperity, due to the published keynote speeches, articles and interviews of the head of state, presented to its readers the successful implementation of the balanced and reasonable foreign economic policy of our country. In his speech, Atajan Burunov drew the attention of the audience to the issues of the development of the oil and gas industry, achievements in fulfilling the tasks, set by the President of Turkmenistan, and the conditions, created by the head of state for the development of this important economic area, which led to large-scale achievements and success in the country’s activities.

An important place in the publication is taken by regional issues. It reflects the speeches of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, the Summits of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States and other forums. Behind every speech, behind every word of the leader of the nation, there were concrete deeds that were put into practice every day and served the interests of the independent Turkmen state, Atajan Burunov stressed in his speech.

At the end of the presentation, its participants adopted an Address of Gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in which they expressed their deep thankfulness to the leader of the nation for his titanic work aimed at developing the country’s oil and gas industry, the further prosperity of the beloved Motherland and the prosperous life of the people.
