New Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” appointed

Maksat Babayev, who until now served as deputy head of this concern, has been appointed as the new Minister of State – Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas”.
The corresponding Decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov last Saturday during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held in a digital system.
Previously, from January to April 2017, Maksat Babayev already headed the State Concern “Turkmengas”, and from April 2017 to April 2018 he was Deputy Prime Minister for Oil and Gas Affairs.
