On January 19, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which draft documents, as well as a number of other issues, were considered.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the measures being implemented by the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” to search and identify deposits of drinking water.
As noted, the state is creating all the conditions for the successful implementation of groundwater exploration work using modern technology. In this regard, specialists of the State Corporation carry out detailed hydrogeological exploration work in the regions.
After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the search and identification of drinking water deposits is an urgent task. In this context, emphasis was placed on the importance of conducting relevant work on a scientific basis. At the same time, emphasizing the importance of the State Corporation “ Turkmengeology ” carrying out effective activities, the head of state ordered, if necessary, to strengthen its material and technical base.
Liquefied gas production department of Lebap region is confidently increasing production volumes
The specialists of the liquefied gas production department of Lebap region approach the celebration of the glorious date of the 30th anniversary of the state independence of Turkmenistan with high production indicators. For seven months of this year, the growth rate for the production of liquefied gas compared to the same period in 2020 amounted to 106.8%. About 44 thousand tons of commercial products were produced.
Gas industry of Turkmenistan increases production and export of «blue fuel»
The volume of production of natural and associated gas in Turkmenistan for seven months of 2021 amounted to almost 48.7 billion cubic meters. This is more than 9 billion cubic meters higher than the level of production compared to the same period last year.
