The oil tanker «Hero Khalilbeyli», which belongs to the ASCO fleet, has undergone a major overhaul and can now transport oil from the port of Turkmenbashi. With the help of modern technologies and equipment, repair work was carried out at the Zığ ASCO shipyard, which was carried out efficiently and in a short time, reports caliber.az.
During the repair, work was carried out to clean and paint the underwater and surface parts of the tanker. Auxiliary engines and mechanisms in the engine room were also replaced: the main engine, boiler room and others. In addition, hull welding and electrical installation work was carried out, and the crew cabins were overhauled.
As a result of the completion of repairs, the tanker successfully passed sea trials, which allow it to transport crude oil from Turkmenistan.
