At the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week, 37 transactions were registered.
Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan and Malta purchased aviation kerosene and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. The subject of transactions of companies from Turkey, the UAE and Afghanistan were technical sulfur and liquefied gas produced by the State Concern «Turkmengas».
Also, representatives of business circles from Afghanistan bought hand-made carpets for foreign currency.
The total amount of transactions exceeded USD 30 million 134 thousand.
For manat funds, entrepreneurs from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased handmade carpets and raw silk for a total amount of more than 13 million 82 thousand manats.
Domestic businessmen bought substandard polyethylene (produced by the SC «Turkmenchemistry), hand-made carpets, PET packaging tape for a total amount of over 9 million 315 thousand manat for the local market.
