On March 23, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which some issues of public life were discussed
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on preparations for the International Visiting Forum to attract foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan.
As noted, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan on the list of exhibitions, fairs, conferences and festivals scheduled for holding by ministries and departments in 2024, the forum is expected to be held on April 24-25, 2024 in the city of Paris (France).
According to the Vice-Chairman, the necessary work is underway to organize the planned event.
According to the instructions previously given by the head of state, the main attention will be paid to familiarization with investment projects implemented in the energy, construction and industrial, as well as transport and communication sectors of the national economy.
After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of attracting foreign investment in the country’s oil and gas sector. Having focused on the fact that the country's investment projects should be widely disclosed at the international visiting forum to attract foreign investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to hold the planned visiting forum in Paris (French Republic) at a high organizational level.
