The South Korean corporation Hyundai Engineering has become the silver partner of the TIEF 2024 forum to attract investments in the energy sector of Turkmenistan, which will be held in April in Paris. This company has been actively working in the Turkmen market for more than 10 years.
The focus of South Korean businessmen is the Galkynysh field, which is gigantic in terms of natural gas reserves. This company already has experience in this field. Thus, in 2013, Hyundai Engineering built gas desulphurization plants here.
In addition, for assistance in the construction of the Kiyanly complex in the Balkan region, the company was awarded a special award for the implementation of one of the most environmentally friendly projects. Together with other large structures, Hyundai Engineering completed the construction of this gas chemical complex to produce 386 thousand tons of polyethylene and 81 thousand tons of polypropylene per year.
The participation of the South Korean company in the upcoming energy investment forum in Paris indicates great interest in continuing cooperation with Turkmenistan in the implementation of large investment projects.
