On March 29, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, the agenda of which included a number of public policy issues.
During the government meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov, reporting on the state of affairs in the structures under his supervision, reported on measures to provide the State Concern «Turkmennebit» with the necessary products, including pipes, used in drilling, development and overhaul of oil and gas wells.
As noted, under the leadership of the head of state, Turkmenistan is implementing a comprehensive strategy aimed at diversifying the fuel and energy sector, modernizing its infrastructure, and widely introducing innovative methods and advanced technologies into practice.
In this direction, practical steps are being taken to strengthen the material and technical base of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» and to increase the efficiency of the work carried out by its divisions, as provided for in the plan for the current year.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that one of the important tasks is to increase oil production in the country. Having approved the proposal to provide the State Concern “Turkmennebit” with pipe products that are used in drilling, development and major repairs of oil wells, the head of Turkmenistan instructed the Vice-Chairman to carry out the corresponding work.
