A month ahead of schedule, the Chelyabinsk plant UMC (Russia) supplied products to the State Concern "Turkmengas" for the construction of the international gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI). This is reported by the Russian media.
In particular, the “Trubodetal” plant (part of the United Metallurgical Company group) delivered 960 tons of pipe fittings for the TAPI international gas pipeline in four months of 2020. To fulfill this order, Trubodetal used large-diameter sheet and pipes produced by another UMC enterprise, the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant (Nizhny Novgorod Region). Such cooperation of UMC plants made it possible to guarantee the quality of the final product and ship it ahead of schedule by a month.
“Turkmenistan is a promising region for us, where we are ready to supply our products and have a wealth of experience and technical capabilities for this. Working in cooperation with the Vyksa plant of UMC, we can produce pipe fittings of any standard size, including the European standard, in a short time. We would like to thank our partners from “Turkmengas” for their trust and choice of our products", Yevgeny Baranov, Managing Director of “Trubodetal” plant said.
