Oil workers of Turkmenistan are facing important tasks, the implementation of which is aimed at reaching new milestones. Employees of Goturdepe department of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” work effectively and achieve high results.

One of the main methods of oil production at the fields of Turkmenistan in recent years is the gas lift method.

Goturdepe field has become a clear confirmation of the effectiveness of this method. Currently, more than 500 oil wells are operating here using gas lift.

Goturdepe gas compressor station with a capacity of 12 million cubic meters of gas per day has been operating without failures since its commissioning. It is equipped with modern automatic and electronic control systems, which allows for the efficient collection, purification and increase of gas pressure for sending to oil wells.

Over 1.55 billion cubic meters of gas were prepared for lifting in the first six months of this year, which allowed increasing oil production at the Goturdepe field to 580 thousand tons per year.

The launch of the carbon dioxide production workshop is an important achievement, since the gas produced is used to extinguish fires at compressor stations and in the production of carbonated drinks, the source notes.
