The prospective subsoil of the Cheleken Peninsula, according to experts, contains large deposits of hydrocarbons. The production of hydrocarbons here is carried out by specialists of the “Galkynyshnebit” Oil and Gas Production Department of the SC “Turkmennebit”.

The oil workers of the department successfully cope with the task, applying modern equipment and technology in production, intensively increasing the production of hydrocarbon raw materials. For 11 months of 2020, the volume of "black gold" production from operating wells amounted to 44 thousand 410 tons, while the plan was fulfilled by 116.5%.

Thanks to the application and implementation of advanced innovative equipment, the oilmen of management have reached a new quality level of work. At the well with low productivity No. 636, located at the Dagadzhik site, a number of measures were taken by the drillers to increase its flow rate, as a result of which an abundant flow of oil was obtained. At present, the daily productivity of the well is 25 tons.

Drilling of well No. 654 is also proceeding at a high rate at a depth of 1200 meters.

Since the beginning of this year, a number of onshore wells have been overhauled. Well development is carried out at a design depth of 1200-2750 m. Also, in order to increase oil recovery, reservoirs with a volume of 50-100 cubic meters have been installed on the territory of wells with low productivity.
