Petrochemical products were sold to foreign and domestic markets at the auctions

48 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased base oil and petroleum road bitumen produced at the technological units of the State Concern "Turkmennebit", as well as liquefied gas produced by the State Concern "Turkmenchemistry" for foreign currency.

Also, entrepreneurs from the UAE and Kyrgyzstan purchased plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric and yarn for foreign currency.

The total amount of transactions amounted to over 2 million 283 thousand US dollars.

Local businessmen purchased petrochemical products for the domestic market: polypropylene, base oil, total petroleum coke and petroleum road bitumen (SC "Turkmennebit"), as well as fine-grained potassium chloride, carbon black and iodine (SC "Turkmenchemistry"). In addition, licorice root extract, cotton yarn, raw and denim fabric, cotton fiber were sold. The total amount of transactions exceeded 1 billion 139 million manats.
