Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a congratulatory telegram on June 29 to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday, noted his personal contribution to strengthening Russian-Turkmen relations.

"Dear Gurbanguly Myalikgulyevich, please accept my warmest congratulations on your birthday.

It is difficult to overestimate your personal contribution to strengthening Russian-Turkmen relations. I am confident that they will continue to develop fruitfully in the spirit of deep strategic partnership for the benefit of our friendly peoples, in the interests of ensuring regional stability and security," the telegram published in the media of Turkmenistan says.

The President of the Russian Federation also noted that over the years of holding the highest government posts, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has earned the well-deserved respect of his compatriots and enormous authority abroad.

Vladimir Putin sincerely wished Hero Arkadag good health, happiness, prosperity and success.
