Transit of Turkmen oil through Russia in Q2 will amount to 500 thousand tons

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Turkmenistan will export 500 thousand tons of oil through Russia, INTERFAX reports.

As noted, Turkmenistan ranks second among the oil exporting countries that supply "black gold" to foreign markets in transit through the Russian Federation. Kazakhstan is the leader in this, planning to transport 1.7 million tons through Russia to Ust-Luga and 2.3 million tons to Novorossiysk.

Azerbaijan will export 300 thousand tons of oil through Russia.

Russia plans to export 55.3 million tons of oil in the second quarter of this year.
