Yesterday, in the Central Building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, a report meeting was held via video link, where the results of the work of the industry enterprises for January-April of this year, the motto of which is "Turkmenistan is the Birthplace of peace and trust", were discussed. They also discussed important aspects of the implementation of the priority tasks set for the oil and gas complex at the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on May 7 this year.
At the reporting meeting, which was chaired by Vice Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Abdrakhmanov, representatives of the oil and gas industry, as well as heads of enterprises, associations, departments and institutions of the complex spoke.
Turning to the issues on the agenda, the Vice Prime Minister noted that according to the instructions of the head of state, special attention should be paid to increasing the pace of oil production, consistent implementation of the production plans of the complex of oil refineries.
It was also stressed the need to pay close attention to increasing the production capacity of polyethylene and polypropylene, the introduction of innovative technologies in the activities of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa".
During the reporting meeting, the issues of accelerating the development of oil and gas fields in the Caspian Sea, the construction of the transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan - Afghanistan - Pakistan - India were discussed. It was noted that fruitful work should be carried out on other international projects for the export of natural gas.
At the end of the meeting, Vice Prime Minister Sh. Abdrakhmanov wished the participants success in the timely implementation of the tasks set by the President for the oil and gas industry of our country in the year that will be held under the motto "Turkmenistan is the Motherland of peace and trust".
