The issues of bilateral dialogue between Turkmenistan and the UAE on a wide range were discussed during negotiations in the United Arab Emirates, where a Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan B. Myatiev is on a visit since August 29.
During the visit, the delegation of Turkmenistan held meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE for Asian Countries, Minister of State Ahmed Al Sayeg, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE Suhail Al Mazrui.
Special attention was paid to issues of political and diplomatic interaction, expansion of economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries. It was emphasized that this visit allowed the parties to discuss key political and economic issues, to consider the implementation of joint projects.
As part of the consideration of the current situation in Afghanistan, the need was expressed to consolidate joint efforts for its peaceful settlement.
During a meeting with the leadership of the Emirati Mubadala company, the Turkmen delegation discussed issues of cooperation in the field of investment, finance and gas chemistry. The parties expressed the need to expand the juridical base of bilateral interaction in order to comprehensively implement the agreements reached earlier.
