At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 20 transactions were registered last week.
Businessmen from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased aviation and lighting kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency.
Liquefied gas (produced by the SC «Turkmengas») and hand-made carpets also became the subject of transactions of entrepreneurs from Afghanistan.
The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 6 million 853 thousand US dollars.
For the local market domestic businessmen bought high-density polyethylene (SC «Turkmenchemistry»), as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of over 39 million 11 thousand manat.
