The industry meeting discussed the results of the fuel and energy complex for 7 months of 2020

Today, on August 17, in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, a reporting meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myratgeldi Meredov, at which the results of the work of industry enterprises for seven months of 2020, held under the motto "Turkmenistan - Homeland of Neutrality" were discussed.

At the meeting, important aspects of the implementation of the tasks assigned to the oil and gas complex at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on August 14 this year were considered.

Taking into account the current situation, the meeting was held by video link with the participation of key leaders, taking all precautions.

Turning to the consideration of the issues on the agenda, Vice-Chairman Myratgeldi Meredov reported on the results of the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held in the format of a video link, at which the results of the work of the national economy sectors were summed up, and the tasks for the oil and gas industry for the future were identified.

Then the State Minister - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" B. Amanov made reports on the work performed for 7 months of this year. In his speech, information was given on the production of natural gas, gas condensate and other products of enterprises and institutions. As noted, the production of natural gas and gas condensate increased significantly during the reporting period. The development of existing and search for new deposits is also successfully continuing. During the reporting period, the volume of liquefied gas production increased significantly.

Further, the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" G. Baygeldyev, the Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" M. Rozyev, the General Director of the TCOR D. Chishiev, as well as the heads of departments and enterprises of the complex.

In their speeches, the heads of enterprises and institutions of the complex reported on the consistent build-up of comprehensive work at the Galkynysh and Dovletabat fields, as well as on work in the field of developing new wells and increasing the productivity of the existing Uzynada, Altyguyy, Goturdepe fields. The reports contained information on the implementation of tasks and the integrated development of the TCOR, as well as the Seydi oil refinery.

It was also reported on the production and economic indicators for the development of capital investments in the extraction of natural gas and oil, in the production of petroleum products, the introduction of innovative technologies, the attraction of foreign investment in the industry, gasification of the population.

In addition, issues on the implementation of the task set by the head of state to accelerate the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline were discussed.

Within the framework of the report, information was sounded on the implementation of research and design and survey works carried out by specialists of the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Concern "Turkmengas", the Institute "Nebitgazylmytaslama" of the State Concern "Turkmennebit", as well as reports on the financial and economic indicators of the management "Nebitgazkhyzmat" of the SC "Turkmengas".

At the end of the meeting, Vice-Chairman M. Meredov wished its participants success in implementing the "Program for the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030", noting the inherent importance of the oil and gas complex in the stable development of the economy of our country.
