 The results of the work of the sectors of the national economy for January of this year were summed up at a government meeting, which President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held last Friday via a digital system.

Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported on the results of the work carried out in the areas under his supervision in January this year.

 It was reported on the technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, in particular, the State Concern «Turkmennebit», as well as on the indicators of oil refining by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refining factories of this state concern, the production of gasoline, diesel fuel, liquefied gas, export of «blue fuel».

 In particular, the Vice-Chairman said that over the past month, the plan for the production of polypropylene was fulfilled at the level of 109.2 percent, lubricating oils – 114.3 percent, for the extraction of natural and associated gas – 101.9 percent.

 After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of implementing comprehensive measures to significantly increase the production of natural gas and oil this year, maintaining the operational state of hydrocarbon deposits and production facilities, as well as repairing wells with a reduced flow rate and improving the efficiency of exploration and drilling

 In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister was given relevant instructions.
