The devastating earthquake that occurred in Turkey affected both those who were in this country at that time and the citizens of Turkmenistan.  This was stated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during his visit to the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat on Wednesday.

“Among those who faced this disaster, there are our citizens,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said with regret, leaving an entry in the book of condolences at the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat, which Hero-Arkadag visited on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Mufti of our  countries.

Emphasizing that Turkmenistan is a reliable support for each of its citizens, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov added that if a problem arises, the necessary support will be provided through the relevant institutions.

A hotline has been opened for citizens of Turkmenistan who are in Turkey to provide them with the necessary assistance after a series of devastating earthquakes in this country.  To this end, the leading media of our country published the contact numbers and e-mails of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey and the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, where you can turn for help, advice and any other information related to the devastating earthquake in Turkey.
