 In order to improve the efficiency of the use of petroleum products, Turkmenistan takes effective measures to control their consumption.  Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ashirguly Begliev reported on the ongoing work on the rational use of energy resources.

 The Vice-Chairman reported on this during a government meeting, which President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held digitally last Friday.

 In this context, the draft Resolution “On the Issues of the Service for Control over the Use of Petroleum Products of the Main Directorate “Turkmennebitonumleri” of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” was submitted for consideration by the President of the country.

 After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the oil and gas industry is the leading sector of the national economy, the most important task of which is the optimal use of the country's rich natural hydrocarbon resources and meeting the growing demand for energy resources.

 Having signed the relevant Decree and sent it to the Vice-Chairman for the digital system, the head of state instructed to ensure the proper implementation of the provisions of this document.
