13 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan bought gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. Hydrotreated diesel fuel (SC «Turkmennebit») became the subject of transactions of representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan.
Also, cotton yarn, dyed terry products and Portland cement were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: Turkey, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan.
The total amount of transactions amounted to over 34 million 721 thousand US dollars.
For manats, businessmen from the United Arab Emirates purchased cotton yarn in the amount of 4,175,000 manats.
For the domestic market, domestic entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene (SC «Turkmennebit») in the amount of 2 million 500 thousand manats.
