Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan discussed priority areas of cooperation

 The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, as part of the C5 + 1 meeting in Astana, held bilateral talks with colleagues from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.  This is reported by the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country.

 During the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tleuberdi, the prospects for further development of partnership in the field of trade, transport, logistics and energy were discussed.  The parties also exchanged views on the current international and regional situation.

 Rashid Meredov noted that Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are fraternal countries, intensive contacts at the highest level between the two sides fully reflect the high level of bilateral relations.

 It was also noted that the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Kazakhstan, which took place in October 2022, became a new stage in the further development of fruitful interstate cooperation.

 During bilateral talks between Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev, attention was paid to topical issues of Turkmen-Kyrgyz cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, transport, logistics and energy sectors, as well as in the field of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

 The ministers spoke in favor of further regional cooperation between the countries within the C5+1 format.
