The individual enterprise "Geljege Miras", located in the industrial zone of Ak Bugday etrap, Akhal region, has mastered the production of motor oils for cars and trucks and has already sent the first batches of products abroad.
- The decision to start the production of motor oils was not spontaneous, - the director of the enterprise Kuvvat Bailyev said. - The general line of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov is aimed at diversifying the economy, creating innovative industries, increasing the output of import-substituting and export-oriented products. The head of state assigns a big role to entrepreneurs in achieving the set goals. And this gives us an incentive to create new enterprises.
After studying the market for the production and demand for motor oils and making the necessary calculations, the company decided that this production is available for medium-sized businesses and has good prospects. Having built the premises and purchased the most modern equipment, in September 2022 the company launched the production of products under the «GM OIL» brand, and by now the first batches of it have been exported abroad.
As you know, modern motor oils are obtained by mixing base oils (raw materials) with additives for various functional purposes. Geljege Miras buys base oils for the production of mineral oils from the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. And base oils for the production of semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils, as well as all additives, are abroad.
The base oils and additives purchased both domestically and from abroad are only of high quality, since the quality of the produced oil largely depends on them. In order for engine oil to perform its functions for a long time and reliably, providing a given engine life, it is extremely important to follow the technological process. In a special installation, base oils and additives are mixed in certain ratios and under certain conditions. The result is an engine oil with desired properties and characteristics. The exact dosage of the necessary components is provided by automation.
The entire technological process at the enterprise is fully automated, the resulting product is certified according to the international certification system SGS.
The capacity of the enterprise is 5 tons per hour, winter, summer and universal semi-synthetic and fully synthetic motor oils are produced. There are more than 10 titles in total. In the future, it is planned to expand the range by producing motor oils with higher performance.
In order to ensure control over compliance with the technological process, education and training of qualified personnel from among local employees, invited experienced specialists from Turkey also work at the enterprise.
So far, engine oils under the «GM OIL» brand are still little known to a wide range of consumers. At the same time, the specialists of the Geljege Miras enterprise are convinced that oils under the «GM OIL» brand, produced in strict accordance with technological standards, are not inferior in their characteristics and quality to foreign analogues of well-known brands.
