The results of the work of the fuel and energy complex for January-April 2023 were discussed at a government meeting

On Thursday, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the digital system, at which the results of the work of the sectors of the national economy for four months of 2023 were summed up.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ashirguly Begliev reported on the results of the work carried out in the sectors under his supervision in January-April 2023, on the achieved technical and economic indicators for the extraction of oil and gas condensate, the production of lubricating oils.
In particular, it was reported that the Türkmennebit State Concern fulfilled the plan for oil supply at the level of 102 percent, for oil refining at refineries – by 102.8 percent, for the production of gasoline – by 106.7 percent, diesel fuel – by 108 percent, 4 percent, polypropylene – by 100.6 percent, liquefied gas – by 101.4 percent.
During the reporting period, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 106.4 percent, for the export of “blue fuel” – by 107.6 percent.
Summing up the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the important role of the fuel and energy complex in the national economy, noting that appropriate measures should be taken to further increase the production of natural gas and oil.
The head of state also stated the need to attract investments to the industry and constantly increase the capacities of the industrial enterprises of the complex, giving a number of instructions to the Vice-Chairman in this regard.
