Turkmenistan solemnly celebrated the 29th anniversary of the Independence Day

On September 27, Turkmenistan solemnly celebrated one of the main holidays of our country - Independence Day.
On this festive day in Ashgabat, according to tradition, in the morning, a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Independence Monument took place, in which President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part. The ceremony was also attended by members of the government, heads of the Mejlis, military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments of the country, representatives of public organizations, honorary elders, student youth, residents and guests of the capital.
Then, a military parade was held on the main square of the capital, which was reviewed by the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Servicemen of motorized rifle, airborne, engineering and other units, lightly armored vehicles of all-terrain vehicles marched in front of the main stand near the Oguzkhan Palace complex. Military helicopters and airplanes in service with the national army flew over the Central Square of the Turkmen capital.
The military parade was followed by an automobile procession that presented all sectors of the country's national economy. Colorful car platforms demonstrated achievements in the chemical, fuel and energy, construction, textile, transport and communication, agro-industrial and other spheres of Turkmenistan.
In the evening, a festive concert in honor of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan was held at the Ashgabat Song and Music Center. Both famous masters of arts and young artists, folklore and dance ensembles, the State Choir, the "Altyn Asyr" orchestra, children's creative groups performed from the stage.
The evening ended with a festive fireworks display in honor of the celebration of the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
