President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution providing for measures aimed at the timely preparation of draft State budgets, the main directions of socio-economic development and the country’s investment program for 2024.
The document instructs the Ministry of Finance and Economy to organize work on the preparation of drafts of the State Budget for 2024, the main directions of socio-economic development and the country’s investment program and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers before November 1 of this year.
Before June 1, it is necessary to send to the ministries, sectoral departments, khyakimliks of the regions, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag settlement forms and guidelines for the preparation of the above projects.
It is also prescribed to create a working group of specialists and organize its effective work for the preparation of the above projects.
When preparing these projects, one should be guided by the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028,” the Resolution of the head of state says.
The issues of preparing a draft Decree on the development of the State Budget for 2024 were discussed at a regular government meeting held on Saturday in a digital system.
Noting the importance of implementing effective measures to maintain the dynamic growth of industries and the fulfillment of planned indicators in all areas, the head of state ordered to control the implementation of the provisions of this document.
