Azerbaijan has laid an underwater pipeline commissioned by Turkmenistan

Pipe-laying vessel “Suleiman Vezirov”, owned by CJSC Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), completed the laying of the underwater pipeline at the oil field LAM and ZHDANOV in the Caspian Sea.

The works were commissioned by Turkmenistan, the ASCO press service reports.Work on laying more than 5-kilometer gas pipeline began in March 2022. The gas pipeline is from the LAM-B platform to the LAM-C and LAM-28 platforms.

Currently, Dzheitun (LAM) and Dzhygalybeg (Zhdanov) mines at the Cheleken field in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea are carried out by Dragon Oil (UAE) under a contract On the division of products signed with the Government of Turkmenistan.
