At the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 20 transactions were registered last week.
Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. Businessmen from Turkey purchased high density polyethylene (SC “Turkmengas”).
Also, cotton and denim fabrics, cotton yarns, plastic containers were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: UAE, Turkey, Armenia.
The total amount of transactions exceeded USD 19 million 776 thousand.
For manat funds, representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased carpets, cotton yarn. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 1 million 333 thousand manat.
