Georgia purchased about 56 thousand tons of diesel fuel from Turkmenistan in 9 months

In January-September 2020, Turkmenistan supplied 55.9 thousand tons of diesel fuel to Georgia, which amounted to 13.3% of the total supply of this type of fuel to this country. This was reported by Interfax-Azerbaijan with reference to the Union of Importers of Oil Products of Georgia.
The largest volume of gasoline and diesel fuel in January-September of this year, Georgia imported from Russia. Supplies increased by 8.2% - up to 250.8 thousand tons, which amounted to 31.1% of the total.
In general, during this period Georgia, which meets its needs for oil products by almost 100% through their import, purchased 807.5 thousand tons of gasoline and diesel fuel, which is 3.6% more than in the same period last year.
