At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, 21 transactions were registered last week.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, and Malta purchased aviation kerosene and polypropylene produced at the technological installations of the SC «Turkmennebit», as well as lighting kerosene, for foreign currency. Representatives of the UK business community purchased urea produced by the SC «Turkmenchemistry».
Cotton fabric and yarn, and denim fabric were also sold for foreign currency. Buying countries: United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions amounted to over 51 million 329 thousand US dollars.
Domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene and petroleum road bitumen produced by the «Turkmennebit», as well as handmade carpets, cotton yarn, and raw silk for the domestic market. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 14 million 756 thousand manats.
