Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to expand cooperation with international research institutes in the oil and gas sector

 Last Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which drafts of a number of documents, as well as other priority issues of state life, were considered.

 During the government meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the activities of research institutes in the oil and gas industry, in particular, on the widespread introduction of the latest scientific achievements into production, as well as on international cooperation in this area.

 The Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern “Turkmengas” together with the Institute “Nebitgazylmytaslama” of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” carry out systematic work aimed at the effective exploitation of existing fields.

 Gas and gas condensate fields are developed according to scientifically based projects of scientists and institute specialists, who are faced with such tasks as scientific research solutions in the field of geology, development, drilling and design of oil and gas facilities, their timely implementation into production.

 In order to actively use advanced technologies, our country cooperates with reliable foreign oil and gas companies with extensive experience and potential.

 After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of the scientific approach of the research institutes of the state concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” to the exploration and development of new oil and gas fields, as well as to the construction of specialized infrastructure.

 In this regard, for the development of the domestic oil and gas industry, it is necessary to expand the scope of interaction with international research institutes working in this direction, the head of state said, addressing the Vice-Chairman with relevant instructions.
